The wide range of possible applications for our coating systems can also be seen in motorsport, for example. We are proud to be able to support Norick Tschauder and his Yamaha R6 in his success with motorcycle components coated by us. Thanks to the coated components, the performance of his motorcycle is always at the highest level. He is the current SSP600 Champion of 2023 and 2024 of the IBPM (International Bike Promotion Championship).

The Bamberg-Forchheim economic region (WiR) presents small and medium-sized companies that are pursuing specific strategies to make their production more climate-friendly. When constructing our new company building, we focused on a resource-saving concept right from the start. Climate change and the war in Ukraine show that this decision was the right one. The Nordbayerische Nachrichten highlighted the topic of "Saving energy at work" and presented our approach in a detailed article.

Our new production hall with office complex was officially opened on October 17th together with friends, partners and the Bavarian Minister of the Environment, Thorsten Glauber. The invited guests were able to take a guided tour of the company building and learn about our innovative coatings and machinery. Over the next two years, SAM Coating GmbH and the Institute of Textile Technology at RWTH Aachen University will be developing and optimizing an innovative combination coating for textile machine elements using the example of knitting machine lock parts as part of the "Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM)" funding programme.
SAM Coating GmbH was able to further expand its production capacity at the Eggolsheim site in 2017. The investments made were co-financed by the European Union and the Free State of Bavaria as part of the European Regional Development Fund.
Dr. Andreas Schneider, Managing Partner of SAM Coating GmbH, welcomed numerous guests from industry, politics, business development and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce to the official opening event on 28.09.2012. The visitors were able to gain an impression of the plant equipment during a tour of the facility.
