Since its foundation in 2011, SAM Coating has successfully established itself as an innovative company for coatings. In the early days, the focus was on carbon-based coating systems. Two employees produced on a coating system in an area of just 180 square meters. SAM Coating responded to the sharp increase in capacity utilization by building its own new company building in 2019. Today, 22 employees, 4 coating systems and an area of 1,500 square meters are available.
Dr. Andreas Schneider has been working in the field of coating technology since completing his doctorate in 2006. This includes basic research as well as the development of series processes and series coating.
Alexandra Hollweck has been Managing Director at SAM Coating GmbH since 2024. She has more than 20 years of coating experience in the areas of development, sales and production.
Claus Dreher is a partner at Steiner & Partner GbR. After studying business administration in Bayreuth, he was appointed tax consultant in 2000 and auditor in 2002. In addition to his many years of advising mainly medium-sized clients in various sectors, his main areas of activity are M&A consulting, restructuring consulting and strategic consulting for companies.
Stefan Jablonski has held the Chair of Databases and Information Systems at the University of Bayreuth since 2006. His research focuses on the application of data science concepts in the areas of process management and process-oriented information systems.
Dr. Oliver Rothhaupt is a partner at AFK Rechtsanwälte. He is a certified specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law and a certified specialist lawyer for tax law. Dr. Rothhaupt is a trained businessman (Siemens master's degree) and worked as a corporate lawyer in the Legal Service of Siemens AG before joining AFK Rechtsanwälte. With great economic understanding and a solution-oriented approach, he advises and represents numerous companies on trend-setting legal and entrepreneurial issues and acts as an advisor to corporate bodies.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Frank Walther has headed the Department of Materials Testing Technology (WPT) at TU Dortmund University since 2010. His research focuses on materialography, fatigue strength, mechanism-oriented modeling of material behavior and failure analysis.
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Zenneck's areas of work are inorganic chemistry with a focus on metal vapour chemistry, phosphorus chemistry, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, electrochemistry, chemical vapour deposition of thin films (CVD processes), nanoparticles and nanometal composite materials. He is currently involved in university and non-university cooperation projects in various fields of work.
